French Photographer and Filmmaker, Varial has won 1st place at National Geographic and prizes at Photo District News, Lux Canada, Applied Arts. His work and been published by the New York Times, National Geographic, Geo Magazine, Globe and Mail,BBC among others and exhibited at the United Nations, Arsenal Contemporary Canada, Milk Studios, Impossible Project.

In 2023, some of his work is published in the book "Documentary Photography Reconsidered" by Michelle Bogre, former director of the Photography Department at Parson's School of Design in New York

Embedded in many worlds, cultures, and traditions, Varial is naturally driven and attracted to extreme journeys, remote places, tribes, and threatened cultures, obsessed by untold realities, rare captured moments, simple but singular realities, and striving for the sublime.
