I explore the meaning of words and situations through text-image relationships, puns, and literary potentiality. Angèle Douche is my playful identity and device for delving into the fun aspects of language. I create work that blends humor and poetry in visual and performative forms.
With a Master's degree in Modern Literature specializing in children's literature, I discovered artisanal printing techniques like linocut and screen printing through zines and self-publishing. Alongside my personal research, I run my own micro-publishing house, focused on readymade poetry and artists books.
I live and work in Bagnolet, near Paris, France.
