Bangaly Fofana

Filmmaker Bangaly Fofana � has skills in conception and copywriting as

he has worked for companies such as Herezie, Publicis Conseil, and DDB

Paris.

In 2017, he went back to the places of his upbringing, to develop his

first documentary La saison des sas, supported at the first sight by La

Fémis, Arte, France 3, Scam, and CNC ; and also to find inspiration.

He likes videos since he was a child and started his career as a

photographer with the same project, originally hundred percent based on

archives. A great opportunity to find new models of creation and take time

to share with the neighbourhood’s characters, often residents.

Anyone can find a dose of humour in his work. Bangaly targets a wide

audience.
