Pendant trois ans, de 2009 à 2012, j'ai arpenté les couloirs du métro parisien, traquant et collectant ces incongruités picturales, fruit du labeur inlassable des fêtards, des anti-pubs ou des colleurs d'affiches eux-mêmes.

Ce travail s'inscrit dans la continuité de celui initié par Jacques Villeglé et Raymond Hains. L'appareil photo m'a permis de me rapprocher au plus près et d'aller chercher des détails de ces paysages, portraits, formes abstraites nés de la superposition des différentes couches. Des décollages qui révèlent des compositions uniques, ancrées dans leur époque.

For three years, from 2009 to 2012, I wandered the corridors of the Paris metro, tracking down and collecting these pictorial incongruities, fruit of the tireless labor of partygoers, anti-advertisers and poster-gluers themselves.

This work is a continuation of that initiated by Jacques Villeglé and Raymond Hains. The camera enabled me to get up close and personal, and to seek out the details of these landscapes, portraits and abstract forms born of the superimposition of different layers. These tear-offs reveal unique compositions, anchored in their time.
