Aurélie Galois is a painter and a writer.
While studying literature and history of art, she learned every traditional techniques of painting, drawing and engraving from a master in his private studio in Paris. As a young editor in chief for several magazines and free lance writer, she started to paint the portraits of those she was interviewing. Faces have become her favorite landscape Then she moved to the US for several years, and her artistic carrer took off. Her painting explores the twilight zones of the human psyche, through phantasmagoric theatrical setups that both create and negate narrations.
