Lamentations, un diptyque photographique s’inspirant de la technique de la « sanguine » geste né à l’antiquité et répandu à la renaissance italienne. tracés d’hématite, cette forme de « retable » a été réalisé quelques mois après le 7 octobre, en janvier-février 2024, pour mettre en regard les mères d’israël et de palestine, les joindre dans un même corps, les regarder ensemble, de part et d’autre, sous la forme de voiles qui évoquent tout autant les linceuls et la gaze, mot d’où provient le nom de la ville de Gaza parce que c’est là qu’on y tissait cette étoffe légère pour panser les plaies.
