“Quand j'étais petit, j'ai commencé à apprendre la calligraphie chinoise, une tâche assignée aux étudiants chinois à l'école. Pour tracer de belles lignes, nous devions répéter constamment le même mouvement, ce qui m'a rappelé mon expérience dans l'armée - des mouvements répétitifs et monotones.  En 2019, j'ai commencé à enseigner la calligraphie en France et à réintroduire l'utilisation de l'encre chinoise dans mes œuvres. L’implication du corps est très importante dans le travail créatif à l'encre. C’est comme une forme de performance.
