Son premier trompe l’œil date de 1993 et depuis Dominique HOUARD a exposé de nombreuses fois, au Salon International de Feytiat où elle accroche ses pastels depuis 2002, mais aussi en Espagne, au Canada, à Londres et en Chine où elle recevra le titre de Maître Pastelliste par la Société des Pastellistes de France en 2015.
