The artwork

Je m’emploie dans ma pratique à excaver des magazines et livres, qui, à l'instar de mine à ciel ouvert, laissent apparaître les couches successives des pages sculptées. Feuille après feuille, je fais sauter l’épiderme de l’ouvrage, évitant les textes. Se dévoile peu à peu un jeu de fragments de photos. Ces fragments viennent s’entremêler en surface pour composer par strates, une mosaïque de formes en apparence abstraite.
