The sea, the safe haven to which I always return The sea has always been an important part of my life. It is the place I always return to when I need to find peace or when I need to clear my thoughts. Next to it I feel at ease and it washes away my wounds, my sorrows just by immersing myself in it; it lightens my soul just by being close to it. This is the sea that surrounds the Mediterranean town of Valencia, my hometown. The Malvarrosa beach is the one where I grew up. A place to go for a walk, to take a bath, to meet with friends, sunsets between outdoor games, campfire nights, healing for the soul in difficult times. The place to return
