The artwork

Acacia, fer forgé, peinture acrylique. Socle chêne. Référence aux Arts Premiers. Les Guetteurs nous éveillent à la verticalité. Ils nous invitent à observer ce monde qui change,à nous arrêter,à bien vivre l'instant présent. De leur bouche, ils nous parlent en silence.... Ils sont sculptés dans un tronc d'acacia et peints ensuite en mettant en valeur le relief. La couleur souligne le volume. Leurs grands yeux de Guetteurs sont forgés dans le feu de la forge. (Ils nous rappellent le réglisse.) Par delà ,l'invitation à nous arrêter et à nous poser les questions essentielles, il y a aussi de l'humour et du second degré...
