The artwork

C'est un travers social de notre époque qui s'est cogné dans ma tête avec le souvenir ébloui des gravures du moyen-âge. Maître 1466, Durer, Holbein, Wolgemut et tant d'autres restés anonymes, ont laissé ces images d'une finesse de trait fascinante, qui racontent leur époque. Dans l'actualité aujourd'hui, le Paradis jouxte l'Enfer au fond de nos écrans, le harcèlement peut déraper jusqu'au crime, ce qui a suscité en moi cette représentation dans l'esprit de leur expression. Sur un carton brut, le dessin à l'encre de chine est exécuté, puis à la peinture à l'huile les parties humaines. A voir que l'invité du diable, fera le gras du bouillon.
