The artwork

Very attached to its history and its customs that it perpetuates, japan also symbolizes constant innovation. In my painting, I represented this parallel between modernity and tradition with the evolution of the drawing which takes shape, which becomes painting then traditional face. The layout evokes circles that could be zooms, focus on the passage of time. The movement of the fan chasing the past to embody the present and conversely.
