Au cœur d'un paysage désertique évoquant le Moyen-Orient, le corps abandonné d'une femme enveloppé de bandages s'offre à notre regard. Cette scène témoigne des blessures et de la mort, conséquences inéluctables des conflits sociaux, politiques et religieux qui se répètent. Les bandages médicaux symbolisent une tentative de guérison, mais le corps inanimé qui repose sur le sol aride montre l'impasse de toute guérison face à la violence extrême.
