Rivka Salomé is a visual artist with a background in Fine Arts from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Antwerp. She is currently studying a Bachelor in the study of Religions and Folklore in University College Cork.
Her artwork is mostly illustrative and incorporates elements of Visionary and Symbolic Art, transpersonal psychology, folk art and crafts, often accompanied by poetry.
She also works for the office of Sustainability and Climate Action in University College Cork, and is a Representative of the University Community Garden, hosting events around ecology, folklore and verbal arts. Eco-feminists and deep ecology activist,her academic research focuses on the preservation of Indigenous Knowledge, as well as Western Esotericism and Celtic Studies. She has also traveled and lived in intentional communities as well completed a Permaculture Design Course.
