Laura Klein's childhood in East Africa trained her eye to see in colour and sharp contrasts. Rocks, animals, endless landscapes, people, textiles, wooden sculptures, plants, trees, were the forms that shaped her vision. Teenage years in Switzerland allowed her to visit the best art museums under the guidance of passionate art history professors. Adult years in the company of architects, art gallerists, artists and state-of-the art artisans as closest friends inspired her to start making art in the 90's. In 2000 she started photography with an analog camera. This art form culminated in making a book on a sculpture she fell in love with by Henry Moore (Reclining Figure Arch Leg 1969-70). All art forms nourish each other. Provided it be organic and sincere. Made with the heArt.
